  • I add serious lag with the video playback (prerendered video sequence) and I just nailed the solution. The audio was out of sync as well.

    I have the following configuration.

    Dell Dimention 4700
    CPU P 4 2.8 Ghz,
    2 Gif of ram.
    Asus GeForce GT 430

    I updated virtually anything that could be needing to be updated (BIOS, Directx, Video cards drivers) but the lag persisted.

    Then I went in the BIOS option. In the optimision tab, I turned off the hyper threading option. They explained that hyper threading create a virtual threading model on a single core processing. I guessed this could be pretty bad for a game that was designed for Dual Core and Quad Core.

    At any rate, this solved my performance issue for the prerendered video. I hope this will help anyone out there!
