Today, April 8th, marks Nibbits' two year anniversary. It's been a fun journey, and boy has the site changed. Today I took the opportunity to dig up some images I had taken before I converted the old Nibbits (had nothing to do with maps), to the new version, which is what you see now.
Originally, I had started the domain off as a file search site. We didn't host any file, but rather we let people submit links to find files. It worked decently for WoW patches, and we had a big directory of files for a lot of games, including a roms section. Sadly, it never caught on. It was definitely a good learning experience though.
Then, around April of 08, I decided how much I disliked the simplicity of EpicWar.com. I decided that we would build something better. Something that told you more than "this map is the most downloaded, so its probably the best". Two years later, I think we're beginning to accomplish that goal.
Again, thanks everyone for the continued support, and hold on! There's more to come :)
