Basically, its a way you can implement some general stat logging in your map that is compatible with GHost++ bots.
What this allows, is some cool statistics that we're able to gather if/when we host your map (or someone else does) on battle.net. Things like kills, deaths, and gold are a few.
If you look over on our Battle.net section, you'll see an example of this in the (temporarily) hosted DOTA maps. We plan to change this out, and automatically host 5-10 of the most popular maps on Nibbits automatically. When we do this, if stats are available, we will be showing them with the match information.
